As a Cook, you will prepare and cook theclients healthy meals to promote improved health and well-being of all clients.
Responsibilities:
Read & follow established menu, follow recipes, prepare food for each meal.
Perform prep work, prepare food items, and share cooking duties with dietary team.
Correctly read and execute recipes set by the Dietary Manager
Maintain compliance with health and sanitation guidelines.
Additional duties as directed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Have basic kitchen knowledge and basic knife skills.
General knowledge of nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $14-16/hour
Schedule: Morning shift, Full-Time, 7am - 3:30pm
